Tom Walmsley’s relevant experience: –
- BSc Zoology (honours degree) from Bristol University.
- Created wildlife ponds (approx 10) and wildflower meadows (approx 8) in the Bristol area.
- Wildlife cameraman for ten years and led expeditions to 40 countries, filming endangered species and the ecosystems that support them (or not).
- Bristol Schools Nature Reserve, set up in 2018 and established a small team to deliver it. The concept was to show children the importance of of wildlife habitats especially if they can be linked by ‘green corridors’ to form a mosaic, they then act as one larger ecosystem. Twelve schools participated but currently on hold, due to COVID and funding.
