For schools, home educators and social bubbles: –
‘Gaining skills, confidence and literacy around sustainability, biodiversity and eco-empathy.‘
A range of outdoor and environmental education programs for all ages
- ECOLAB: safe classroom and base in our woods
- PROGRAMS FOR ALL AGES: flexible and dynamic sessions
- BIODIVERSITY COLLECTION: live and preserved artefacts
- BRISTOL SCHOOLS NATURE RESERVE: one small patch at a time
The sessions are varied, versatile and often eventful but with a clear objective to generate action and agency in young people around environmental challenges.
It is organised by our team of ‘big thinkers’ from The Environmental Education Project, with experience in teaching, bush craft, home schooling, therapy and ecosystem management.
We plan sessions with two great educational reformists in mind: –
Pestalozzi’s motto was “Learning by head, hand and heart” (1746 – 1827)
John Holdren. These are the choices. The choices of humanity. That’s where we as educators come in.
